Name: Hunter Harris
Age: 11U
Age Group: WGPA 11U Tigers
Hunter Harris started playing for WGPA in the Fall of 2018 and currently plays for the 11U WGPA Tigers. Hunter had a productive defensive and offensive effort in the GOB Summer Slugfest tournament this past weekend. He played 2nd base, left field, and pitched. His fielding play was solid recording multiple putouts in the infield, including a pivotal play in the semifinal when he leaped to grab a line drive over his head. At bat, Hunter went 4 for 6, scoring twice and hitting his very first over-the-center field fence homerun! Hunter has been working hard on his fielding in practice and at home in his spare time. And most recently he has been working on fine-tuning his hitting mechanics with Coach Eddie. All of his hard work looks to be paying off..
